The relational dynamics between a therapist and a traumatized client are known to be fraught with challenges and pitfalls. But what about when a whole team of clinicians attempts to navigate those challenges together? Trauma cannot be treated alone, but neither is it simple to treat it together. This presentation looks at the common effects of trauma on team dynamics, team decision-making and how theory of mind and perpetrator awareness can help a team navigate these situations.
