Nick Rieber graduated from Wittenberg University with a dual major in English and American studies, then spent three years teaching English as a second language in South Korea. While in Korea, Nick played on a semi-pro soccer team and began his study of education and fitness. Upon returning to the Boston area in 2007, Nick became a licensed and certified personal trainer, earning his diploma at the American Academy of Personal Training, where he graduated at the top of his class. He has experience participating in nearly every sport, including soccer, baseball, hockey, lacrosse, yoga, volleyball, racquetball, tennis and football. Nick is a regular hiker and outdoors enthusiast. Before Nick was a trainer, he was a counselor at Ellenhorn’s residential program. Today, he coaches and is captain of many Ellenhorn sports teams, is the chief coordinator of Ellenhorn’s QUEST program, and heads up our fitness department. Nick’s main goal is to teach clients the fundamentals of a healthy lifestyle. He and his dog, Brady, are a certified therapy dog handling team and Brady often comes to work to say hello. Nick earned his master’s degree in education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, and is a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician.
