Antonia earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music. Since 2006, Antonia has worked in various clinical settings as a board certified music therapist, case manager, clinical supervisor for undergraduate students, and a substance abuse counselor. Prior to coming to Prakash Ellenhorn, Antonia worked at two Boston area hospitals on inpatient units that specialize in providing treatment for individuals coping with acute psychiatric conditions and substance use disorders. She conducted group work at these hospitals, facilitating music therapy and collaborative expressive arts groups with fellow clinicians. She also supervised Berklee music therapy students completing practicum field work at McLean Hospital. Additional clinical experience includes case management, substance abuse counseling, and group counseling at an outpatient methadone program. Antonia’s work with clients reflects her belief in the importance of a holistic and creative approach to treatment.
